Barry Island – or BarryBados – as us locals like to call it. Has now become our traditional autumn walk as it’s the occasion we can pay our respects for armistice day and of course it’s a great beach that is open to dogs during the winter months.
This year saw over 20 Welshies bringing along their owners to enjoy the Autumn sun – but unfortunately found no sun at all. It was dry enough to start with but the weather soon deteriorated to a more typical wet autumn day.
I’m only sorry I wasn’t there to take my usual million photographs but fortunately several other photographers were there to record the event and I’d like to thank Clive, Sharon and Jackie for supplying all the great shots seen in the following gallery.
Many thanks to everyone who turned up and we hope you all enjoyed the day out – and we are already looking forward to the next gathering – which will probably be our New Year Walk at Oxwich Bay date yet to be announced – watch this space and Facebook for more info.

Many thanks to Jan, Jackie, Clive and Sharon for sharing their photos and if you took any photos on the day I’ll add them to this gallery too (they’ll be here forever whereas if you just put them on Social Media they tend to disappear after a while).
