Another smashing Welsh Springer get together and walk yesterday at Garw Nant Visitor Centre (Bannau Brecheiniog). The first time we’ve used this location for a dog walk and it didn’t disappoint – there’s miles of forestry trails to explore and some routes take you alongside the Brecon reservoirs before arriving back at the visitor centre for a well deserved cuppa and there’s a pretty good menu of snacks and meals to choose from.

18 Welshies brought their owners along to the Visitor Centre on a cold blustery morning – it felt like autumn has really arrived – thankfully the rain that the weather forecast promised held off till we were all on our way home. All the dogs were great together and happy meeting up with what has become a familiar bunch of friends to them.

We set off on the shorter red route walk but half way round it was decided to do the longer route before getting back to the excellent cafe for a very welcome cuppa and cake.
